  1. The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, by Kate DiCamillo. When I read this book my eyes were glued to the pages , they were so many things to like about this book. Kate DiCamilo did a great job with the details of this story. Kate made characters that you could love and be attached to. My favorite part of the book itself was the illustrations. Over all I think this book is more of a girl book but anyone could read it and injoy it.....including me!!! -Hannah Culcasi :)

I was reading the book Freak The Mighty by Rodman Philbrick. I suggest you should read this book. I give this book 4 stars because their is always room for improvement. Find out why in this book review. The book is about two boys that have different situations and become friends. The book is told from Max's point of view and he was tall, dumb, and looked liked his dad who was Killer Kane. Also Friends with Freak ( Kevin.) Kevin was smart , small, and his dad ran away when he was born. He is also friends with Max. Kevin always rides on Max's shoulders. My favorite part was when they got the purse out of the sewer because it was like a big adventure. I recommend this book to anyone who read Wonder and enjoyed it because it's sort of based on the same topic. So you should really read this book if you loved Wonder.

  3. The Maze Runner by James Dashner is an overall great book. It is full of adventure, mystery, and has a ton of fantastic characters. People who have read and loved the hunger games will love this book too. They have similar concepts of survival, and action. From page one to the end I couldn't stop reading. It had spectacular details and word choice. This book was told by the main character, Thomas. He gets trapped into a world that he could never imagine existing. Throughout the book Thomas grows stronger, tougher, and finds out things about himself that even he never knew himself. -Ratay

  5. Book Recommendation:
    Schooled By Gordan Korman.

This book was really jam packed with a bunch of adventure and mystery. Schooled was about a boy named Capricorn Anderson (A.K.A. Cap). He is in 8th grade. Cap has been homeschooled all of his life by his grandmother named Rain. They both lived on a plot of land they called Garland Farm. But then one day while Rain was on a ladder picking fruit out of a tree, she fell and broke her hip. Capricorn was then sent to live with a foster family for a little bit. Turns out that the person that Cap is living with used to live at Garland Farm and she moved to the city around the same age as Cap. Then Capricorn has to start going to a public school and he didn't really understand any of it. He also got bullied a lot because he was unlike the others. He was unlike them because he always wore tie-dyed shirts and he looked like a hippie. Then a bunch of the bullies nominated him for 8th grade president as a joke, But then Cap starts liking being the president. Along with that some bad things start to happen. Will Cap end up liking the school or no? -Nathan Carter

  6. I read the book Trash by Andy Mulligan for Lit. circles. The book is about three preteen boys that live in a dumpsite. This dumpsite is called Behala. To live every day they sift through the trash. They sell anything they can and try to get money for their family. There is a mission school that can provide kids with uniforms and some meals. I am going to share a quotation from my book, "My name is Raphael Fernandez and I am a dumpsite boy. People say to me, I guess you just never know what you'll find, sifting through rubbish! Maybe one day you'll find something nice. Then one day I did." Raphael finds an object about 6 pages in and it will either make or break his life.

I really enjoyed reading this book. There was so much adventure and I was always on the edge of my seat. I really liked that this book was a fast start. I recommend this book to people that like mystery and adventure. I would rate this four and a half stars out of five. If you haven't read this book yet, I really think you should!
