The Fourth Stall, by Chris Rylander

The Fourth Stall, by Chris Rylander, is a literature circle book that students read in my class.  It seems like a great book!

  1. I read the Fourth Stall by Chris Rylander. This novel is about Mac, a sixth grader, who runs a business in the bathroom with his friend. Eventually a problem arises that puts the business at stake. I think this is a realistic fiction. I love this book because of the non-stop action and mystery.
I picked up this book because of the cover and summary. The cover shows a hand reaching for toilet paper and I thought it was really weird so I started reading it in my group. I am glad I did.
I give this fantastic novel a 4.5 star rating because it was amazing but there is always room for improvement.

The Fourth Stall by Chris Rylander is an amazing book. It is full of action, mystery, and other cool things. The book is also fiction/nonfiction because it all sounds real but it never happened yet. Here is a sneak peak at the book.

It’s about a kid names Christian Barrett but everyone calls him MacGyver or Mac for short. The reason for it is because Mac has a business in the East Wing Boys’ Bathroom in the fourth stall from the high window. He helps kids from all over the school with their problems. His best friend, Vince, brings the kids with the problems into the stall and shuts the door. There is also a door guard named Joe too that’s outside of the bathroom.

I liked this book a lot that I wish that it would become a series. If I was to give this book a 5 star rating, I would give it 5 stars! That’s how I think about the book and it’s also how you should too.

  3. The Fourth Stall was a very enjoyable book about 2 boys named Mac and Vince. Together they run a business in the East wing boys bathroom helping kids with problems. Everything runs smoothly until a third grader named Fred comes to Mac asking for help with a school legend named Staples. Staples is taking bets to win money easily. Its up to Mac and Vince to take him down.

I would give this book 4.5 stars out of five. Overall this is a great book and I would recommend this to anyone who likes funny books.
