The following are books that I have read and recommend for middle school students. A growing list of books is on the right, titled "Book List," and each new post will feature a specific book or series of books that I will elaborate on. Visitors can post their thoughts on books I recommend as well, and they can also contribute to the recommended book list page. Enjoy!

Eight Keys, by Suzanne LaFleur
Eight Keys, by Suzanne LaFleur, is a literature circle book that students read in class. It seems like a nice story.
(Alexa Burns) I read the book Eight Keys by Suzanne LaFleur. I thought it was a really good book. The genre of the book is realistic fiction. I liked the book because it was about a girl my age and I have always liked reading about that. Read on to hear a summary! Eight Keys was about twelve year old Elise who is starting middle school with her BFF Franklin, but also with a girl named Amanda, who she didn't start off on the right foot with. Her and Amanda have to share a locker and it doesn't really work out...And at the same time her parents are dead and but her father left her 8 keys scattered around her house for her to find. He left them when she was 3. That is the summary of the book without giving away the end! Out of a 5-star rating system, I would give it a 4 because at times it was a little confusing. But otherwise, I thought it was a perfect book!
